How do you fit stainless steel spring handles if you take them, is in that location different methods?

.These are meant to fit between two brackets that are attached to door or comprehend that gets hot. There is a commodities or rod that runs loosely through the middle of the spring and connects to the brackets. The air space created betwixt the spring and the commodities or rod prevent the spring from getting hot enough to burn your paw. A film is worth a g words.

Yeah, I know what the handles do & why, it'south just that on some of the home fabricated smokers put them onto a rod that is welded to the smoker chapeau.

I wondered how they are actually fitted when this is the example every bit I cannot come across a way thet the spring handle could exist bent around the rod

IMHO the spring is put on the rod so the rod is aptitude into shape desired.
